Block Management
Managing Statusline Blocks
The Editor panel allows you to compose your statusline by managing individual segments, known as Blocks. Each block represents a specific data point, such as your current model, usage rates, or working directory.
Enabling and Disabling Blocks
You can customize exactly which information appears in your statusline using the visibility toggles:
- To enable/disable a block: Click the checkbox icon (✓) to the left of the block name in the Blocks list.
- Visual Feedback: Disabled blocks appear dimmed in the list and are instantly removed from the Live Preview.
- Performance Note: Disabling blocks you don't use (like
Rate Week) can slightly reduce the execution time of the statusline script.
Reordering Segments
The horizontal order of segments in your terminal matches the vertical order of blocks in the editor list.
- Locate the drag handle (⠿) on the left side of the block you wish to move.
- Click and hold the handle, then drag the block to its new position.
- Release to drop. The preview will update immediately to reflect the new layout.
Configuring Block Settings
While the block list handles visibility and position, individual behavior and appearance are managed in the Settings panel:
- Select a Block: Click on the name of any block (e.g., "Context %") to highlight it.
- Edit Attributes: Once selected, the right-hand panel will populate with options specific to that block, such as ANSI color pickers, threshold values, or display formats.
Global Separators
Beneath the main block list, you will find a special Separator entry. This controls the character and color used to divide your enabled blocks.
- Toggle: Enable or disable the separator globally.
- Style: Choose between common dividers like
|,·, or—. - Color: Set a unified color for all separators to maintain visual consistency across the statusline.
Resetting Configuration
If you want to return to the original layout, use the Reset to defaults button at the bottom of the Blocks panel. This will restore the default block order, visibility, and all color settings.
